1. People direct every film
AI is a production tool, not the author. Every film is written, directed, edited and approved by people. Nothing we generate is published, posted or sent to an audience without human review and, for client work, the client's written approval.
2. AI use is disclosed
Films that contain AI-generated or AI-altered imagery, video or voice are labeled as such where the law or platform rules require it, and we recommend disclosure even where it is optional. We set disclosure text and platform labels per country and channel, including transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, Türkiye's commercial advertising regulation, US Federal Trade Commission guidance on endorsements, and the AI-content labels of Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
3. Real people, likeness and voice
We do not recreate the face, body or voice of a real, identifiable person without that person's written consent. We do not create synthetic testimonials or present synthetic people as real customers, employees or experts. Synthetic presenters and voices are used only as clearly fictional characters or narrators.
4. Brands and trademarks
Client logos, liveries and trademarks are composited from files the client provides; we do not ask AI models to generate them. We do not depict third-party brands, vessels, aircraft or facilities in a way that suggests a relationship that does not exist. Spec films that reference a company are private samples and are never published without that company's permission.
5. Truthful claims
Films state only claims the client confirms are accurate, such as transit times, capacity, certifications and coverage. AI-generated scenes are illustrations, not documentary records of a specific shipment, vessel or facility, unless built from the client's own footage and labeled accordingly.
6. Client materials are not training data
Footage, photos, documents, voices and brand assets that clients share are used only to deliver their project. We do not use them to train our own or third parties' foundation models, and we choose tools and settings that do not allow providers to train on them where such controls are offered.
7. Models and licenses
We build on established model providers and open-weight models under their commercial license terms, and we track the license that applies to each tool we use. Licensed music, stock and fonts are cleared for the agreed media and territory.
8. Provenance
Every delivered film can come with a provenance sheet listing the models used, the license terms that apply, the human edits made and where disclosures appear. Where the delivery format supports it, we can attach content credentials (C2PA) to delivered files.
9. Safety and misuse
We decline work intended to deceive, impersonate, harass, mislead about safety, or evade sanctions or customs rules. We review how a film could be misunderstood before it is delivered.
10. Concerns
If you believe a CargoCut film is misleading, uses your likeness or brand without permission, or handles your data contrary to this policy, write to studio@cargocut.com. We read every report and respond promptly.
